Grafana – Create a new “Viewer” Account

Log into your Grafana instance with Grafana Admin rigths.

NOTE: The Grafana super admin account will be in your password vault.

Once logged in, go to Administration – General – Users and access – Users:

Select “New user”:

Complete user details, including usernamd and password:

Back to the users screen, click “Add user to organization”:

From the drop down list, select the organization (tenant) this user will be part of or should have access to. Select the role for this user in the organization as well:

NOTE: Users in Grafana can belong to different organizations. Simply select all organizations that apply for this specific user.

Back to the users page, remove the uswer from the “Main Org.”

NOTE: The “Main Org.” is not used for any SIEM data, it's simply the default org created when Grafana is installed.
